Deirdre Dee was persuaded by Roy Hudd to perform a one-woman show about the Queen of the Music Halls, Marie Lloyd. Months of research turned up quotes, previously unknown songs and newspaper articles on the singer of “MY OLD MAN SAID FOLLOW THE VAN”.

11th June Solomon Is & Climate Change
Five islands in the Solomon Island chain have already vanished, forcing families to relocate to other, larger islands where they face local, tribal conflict.
Alex Leger worked in the Solomon Islands as a Voluntary Service Overseas teacher, served in the Army after university before joining the BBC in 1973. He joined the Blue Peter team in 1975 and retired from the BBC in 2011

9th July Passports, Assassins, Traitors & Spies
A dramatic account of how the actions of a group of assassins brought about a change in the passport regulations; how the unmasking of a spy caused a modification in passport design and how, for one man, the passport itself turned into a killer.
Martin Lloyd worked for twenty-four years in the Immigration Service, encountering all kinds of travellers from royalty to rogues as he examined their passports.

10th September Exeter Cathedral Yard Fire & Ancient Buildings
Exeter’s most devastating fire since World War II began at about 5.30 am on Friday 28th October 2016 above the Castle Fine Art Gallery in the Cathedral Yard. The blaze quickly spread to the adjacent Well House Tavern and completely gutted the iconic 18th century Royal Clarence Hotel, leaving only the exterior walls in place. Restoration work is well underway, including a reproduction of the original façade.
Born in New England USA, Dr Todd Gray has devoted his working career to the study of Devon's history. His passion for his adopted county is self-evident through his publications.

They are a thriving hand bell ringing group with over three octaves of bells and chimes and play a variety of music genres including familiar classics, folk and 'old time' tunes, musical hits and modern songs.
